Finishing work on roundabout

Work has restarted on the Sequim-Dungeness Way — Woodcock Road roundabout. The work is projected to last from April 27 through May 5, depending on weather, recalcitrant Canada geese, and maybe an invasion of militant gerbils. There may be traffic delays.

If you want to avoid the construction, the attached map (based on Google Maps) shows three different paths into and out of Sunland North:

Yellow — take a right on Woodcock Road to the first intersection, turn left (north) on Taylor Ranch Road, and you will end up on Sequim-Dungeness Way heading north. From there you can continue on to Anderson Road, Three Cays Road-Old Olympic Highway, and, eventually, Port Angeles. Or, in reverse order, reach here.

Red — take a right on Woodcock Road and continue as it loops south to Holland Road. From there you can reach Port Williams Road, where turning right (west) will take you into Sequim, or turning left (east) will take you to Schmuck Road and, possibly, a herd of elk.

Green — head south and up Blakely Blvd to upper Sunland. Turn west (right) onto Fairway Drive, and it will loop around to end at Taylor Road. Take a right on Taylor and that will take you to Sequim-Dungeness Way and, eventually, Sequim.

Above all, exercise patience.
