The Board came out of the executive session at 3:25 p.m.
Division 17 has received a preliminary offer from Clallam County for the purchase of a parcel of land in the natural habitat area southeast of the intersection of Sequim-Dungeness and Woodcock Road. The land will be used for the right-of-way for a traffic roundabout to be built at the intersection this summer or fall. Among other things, the right-of-way will require the removal of several large trees providing a privacy and sound buffer on Division 17 property.
The Board examined the offer, and decided to make a counter-offer. The Board President will sign a letter of acknowledgment of receipt of the initial offer. The President will then send a letter with a counter-offer to the county.
