MINUTES FOR THE SUNLAND DIVISION 17 ANNUAL MEETING
Kevin Estes called the 2002 Annual Meeting of Sunland Division 17 to order at 11:30 a.m. Members present were Kevin Estes, Jerry Strawn, and Dick Stuhr.
New business was discussed:
The Board agreed to analyze the feasibility of a possible maintenance agreement for the Association. The preliminary idea and study would determine the cost of a service provider to perform a quarterly checklist of maintenance items for the Units. This is expected to be studied by approximately the fourth quarter of 2002.
The Board agreed to send a letter to Sunland Golf and Country Club, asking that the undeveloped lot west of their driving range building be landscaped or tended to on a regular basis.
The Board reviewed the damaged sod area near the irrigation ditch on Lot 4. The sod will be repaired and the ditch company will be invoiced.
The Board received an update on the progress of Phase III from Kevin Estes. There will be a monument sign and landscaping near the new Woodcock Road entrance to Division 17.
The Board agreed to a 2.8% increase in the monthly assessment. This is in line with the CPI increase in inflation. This increase will be effective at the quarter beginning October 1, 2002.
The Board reviewed an idea to plant flowering trees along Blakely Blvd., proposed by Mrs. Korus, Landscape Liaison. The Board asked for a formal written proposal so that all issues could be reviewed.
There were no other items discussed.
The meeting adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
