For all Unit Owners of Sunland Division 17 Owners Association

Please mail all quarterly assessment payments to P. O. Box 1655, Sequim, WA 98382. Assessment payments are due in January, April, July and October. If you are not current on your assessment payment, please mail your payment today. Owner payments to the Association are deposited on approximately the 10th of each month. A schedule for 2009 payments was mailed to all Owners at the first of the year.

  • New Division 17 Owners Association section of the Sunland North website provides various association documents and forms. Visit www.sunlandnorth.com; Click on the COMMUNITY INFO tab; then select OWNER INFORMATION; from this page click on the blue CLICK HERE above the picture; enter user name is SUNLAND and password is NORTH.
  • Division 17 Owners Association has a new email address. Please send correspondence to ownerinfo@sunlandnorth.com. Please allow 30 days for written response to correspondence. Send email to this new address if you are interested in receiving correspondence by email instead of mail.
  • As a reminder, if you have landscape concerns or notice an area in need of attention, contact Lee Cox, landscape liaison, in writing. Mr. Cox walks the community regularly with the landscape service provider. Per the terms of the landscape contract, no work is conducted on any Owner plantings and no work is conducted behind Owner installed gates or fences.

Please do not dispose of yard waste in the common areas or open space areas.

  •  Please do not adjust the landscaping sprinkler timing These are to be adjusted for proper landscape maintenance by Parsinen Landscape Maintenance only. If you have suggestions as to possible adjustments you would like to make to your timing system, contact Lee Cox in writing.
  • As the winter months approach, please be sure to winterize your home. In particular, it is required that you disconnect all hoses that are attached to the hose bib located on the exterior of your home to avoid damage to pipes in the interior of your unit. Damages that result from not disconnecting hoses will not be repaired at the expense of the Association.
  • If you plan any changes to the exterior of your unit, which may encumber the common areas of the Association, you must submit a written proposal to the Association and allow 30 days for written approval. Changes include any installed work such as fences, gates or modifications to any patio surface. Send these requests to the Association, not to the landscape liaison.
  • Exterior maintenance requests (not landscaping issues) must be submitted in writing to the Association and allow 30 days for inspection.
  • If you sell your home in Sunland North, you will be required to complete a Seller’s Disclosure form if your property is listed with a Realtor. The Buyer of your home may be assessed a fee by Sunland Owners Association (SLOA.)
  • You may have received an invoice from Sunland Water District assessing charges for water meters installed on your homes water connection. This is an expense of the individual homeowner as it is unit specific. All homeowners of Sunland Division 17 can expect within the next five years to pay for water meters installed on their water connections as required by Sunland Water District. Contact the Sunland Water District if you have any questions.
  • If you have concerns about the common areas of the Association, please advise the Association in writing.
  • If you rent your Unit, the Association must be notified in writing. See paragraph 6 of the Sunland Owners Association Rules and Regulations. Owners are responsible for any tenant violation of the Sunland Owners Association R&R’s and Sunland Division 17 Owners Association CC&R’s. Please deliver copy of theses documents to your Tenants upon rental. These document can be accessed from the Sunland North website www.sunlandnorth.com and follow the directions listed above.
  • If you are interested in joining the Sunland Division 17 Owners Association Board of Directors or would like to nominate someone for position, please mail or email your notice.
  • Please add the attached amendment to the Division 17 Owners Association Bylaws you’re your records. This amendment was approved by majority vote at last resulting from majority vote approval in September 2009 included with this mailing.
