IMPORTANT NEWS AND INFORMATION

For all Unit Owners of Sunland Division 17 Owners Association

  • Please mail all quarterly assessment payments to P.O. Box 1655, Sequim, WA 98382. If you are not current on your assessment payment, please mail your payment today. Owner payments to the Association are deposited on the 10th of each month. Unpaid assessments shall bear interest from the date due until the date paid if not paid within 30 days of the due date. Many Owners are taking advantage of electronic payments, often called “Bill Pay” by financial institutions. You can set this up very easily if you do your banking online. Saves you time and postage.
  • The Association will conduct roof cleaning on nine buildings on the north side of Blakely Blvd. This work is scheduled to begin May 12th and take approximately two The work will be done by Haller Restoration, a licensed and bonded provider.
  • At the request of the department of Ecology, the trenched area on the west side of Division 17 will be covered to decrease the amount of lost water. The work will be coordinated by the Sequim Prairie Irrigation Company. The schedule for this work is unclear but is planned for the summer of 2008.
  • I often am asked about the insurance policy for the Association. If you have questions about insurance, please contact our Insurance professional, Dianna Kaspar, at CAU Insurance. Her telephone number is 800-228-1930, x 7181. The Association master insurance policy has renewed effective May 1, 2008. An updated certificate of insurance is enclosed.
  • As a reminder, if you have landscape concerns or notice an area in need of attention, contact Mr. Lee Cox, landscape liaison, in writing. Cox walks the community regularly with the landscape service provider. In compliance with the Association covenants, the transition buffer has been mowed. Thank you to those of you who provided written comments voicing your opinion, which will be shared with the Association Board of Directors.
  • If you plan any changes to the exterior of your unit, which may encumber the common areas of the Association, you must submit a written proposal to the Association and allow 30 days for written Changes include any installed work such as fences, gates or modifications to any patio surface. Send these requests to the Association, not to the landscape liaison.
  • Asphalt paving for Phase 6 is scheduled for the first full week in May.
