Annual Meeting / Election

Nov 2013- The Owner Contact Form will be included in the Division 17 Welcome packet that is given to each new owner, in addition to the Annual Election packets.

Architectural Control

January 2021 – SLOA will accept Division 17’s more restrictive Architectural Control Committee processes as part of an expedited review and action process, as per “Memorandum for Record: Division 17 ACC Requests – Amendment 1,” January 18, 2021

Assessment / Payments

March 2015- The Division 17 annual assessment invoice mailing date will be changed from December 1 to December 15 each year so owners’ un-deposited checks will be held for a shorter period. (Based on a recommendation by the Auditor during the annual Financial Review)

Board Meetings

Dec 2013 – SunLand North owners will receive a monthly email notice/ reminder of the date and time of each Division 17 Board meeting. When possible, a copy of the agenda will be included. The Agendas and Minutes of each meeting will be placed on the SunLand North website in a timely manner for review by owners.

Common Area / Greenbelt

Feb 2016 – Based on a verbal agreement between Division 11 President and Division 17 President, the greenbelt access process outlined in Division 17’s Rules & Regs will be followed by Division 11:

The Division 17 President will be notified in advance and in a timely manner any time Division 11 (or its contracted employees) needs to cross or access the Division 17 greenbelt area to perform maintenance on the slope (owned by Division 11) located to the south of Division 17.

Communications and Outreach

April 2013 – The Division 17 quarterly newsletter will be distributed to renters, in addition of SunLand North unit owners.

Exterior Maintenance / Architectural Control

Feb 2013 -The BaseCamp Project Management Database Program will be used by the Board and Exterior Maintenance, ACC, and other Committees (as appropriate) for tracking special projects, work orders, architectural requests, etc.

Financial

August 2014 – The Division 17 Treasurer will review, sign, and date the monthly bank reconciliation report. (Based on a recommendation by the Auditor during the annual Financial Review)

Governing Documents

May 2014 – Since no written guidance exists on the adoption process for changes to the Association’s Rules and Regulations, the Board agreed to follow the process outlined for amendments to the Bylaws.

Landscaping / Irrigation

Dec 2016 – Future Landscape contracts will contain the notice that all landscaping personnel are required to wear reflective safety vests when performing landscaping or related activities in Division 17.

Legal

January 2022 – The mailing address will be SunLand Division 17 Owners Association, P.O. Box 1655, Sequim. Bell and Bell, the Association’s accountant, will have a duplicate mailbox key and will check the box daily.

Social

Feb 2013 -The Division 17 Board / Association will not officially support and/or will not be involved in coordinating, funding, etc. any neighborhood social or welfare activities involving Division 17 owners (Association members) or SLOA members.
